Cross Roads Community is a Catholic community headed by Father Paul Baczynski with the objective of assisting people to over-come substance abuse and related problems through tour healing model that focuses on both body mind and soul.

The community has been operating since February 2000 and currently has a city base offering holistic support and counselling for substance abusers along with their families and friends.

Cross Roads is developing a liaison with a Catholic Church Retreat Centre on the outskirts of Perth, WA where short and long term retreats will be available for our clients.

  • Assisting its clients to enhance peace, meaning and freedom in their lives.

  • Implementing a 40 theme program of spirituality and human growth.

  • Exploring human pain: issues of forgiveness, past hurts and acceptance - enabling them to move on.

  • Finding the right field of education to promote self awareness and self-esteem.

  • Facilitating health and fitness education with overall wellbeing the prime focus.

  • Sharing life skills: primary needs, communication, budgeting, socialising, etc..

  • Promoting integration with the work force.

  • Sharing the richness and wealth of Catholic spirituality.

It is the command of Jesus Christ to "love one another", He also said "I have come for the sick, not the healthy". The Catholic Church takes pride in continuing the work of Christ."Cross Roads Community" is a support for people who are entangled by substance abuse and are in need of God's love and healing. I warmly encourage those in need to contact Cross Roads Community. Likewise, I ask that people support Cross Roads Community financially as it is a charitable organization. Thank you, may God bless and keep you.

Archbishop Barry Hickey, Perth, Western Australia

I’ve been a volunteer with CRC almost since its inception and help in many areas from cooking, cleaning and running groups. It has been heartening for me to see so many people who have been trapped in the cruelty of drug addiction to come through the programme and able to lead healthy and productive lives. CRC provides a wonderful model of healing and I enjoy supporting it because I see the fruits of its work.
